Reaching the readers
This page shows how a technology publication would present its advertising and sponsorship options. Northlight itself does not sell advertising, and the figures you might expect here, audience size, newsletter open rates and similar numbers, are deliberately absent: the theme follows a simple rule of showing only true things, and a demo site has no real audience to report.
On a live publication, this section would describe who reads the site, which topics draw the most engaged readers and how the audience has grown, backed by numbers the publisher can stand behind.
Formats a publication can offer
- Newsletter sponsorship: a clearly labelled message in a weekly issue, written in the publication's style or supplied by the sponsor.
- Sponsored series: a run of explainers or video episodes on a theme, produced by the newsroom with editorial independence spelled out.
- Display placements: a small number of tasteful, fast-loading slots that do not interrupt reading or slow the page.
- Events and briefings: roundtables and webinars hosted by the publication's editors.
Editorial independence
Readers trust a publication that keeps advertising and journalism separate. A good advertising page says so plainly: sponsors do not choose or review stories, sponsored content is labelled as such on every page and in the newsletter, and the newsroom can decline a campaign that conflicts with its standards.
Getting in touch
A real publication would list its partnerships contact here, along with a media kit and typical lead times. For questions about the theme itself, use the contact page.
